Sean Patrick Thomas & Patricia Velasquez Join Producer James Wan’s The Children

On Monday, we let you guys know that actress Linda Cardellini is to take on a horde of younglings in the James Wan-produced horror flick, The Children. And today we have news of two more names joining the cast of adults.
Deadline reports that Patricia Velasquez (The Mummy) and Sean Patrick Thomas (Halloween: Resurrection) will join forces with Cardellini to take care of these pesky kids once and for all.
James Wan will be producing for Atomic Monsters and Gary Dauberman & Emile Gladstone will also produce with Michael Chaves directing.
Synopsis:
The story follows a social worker who, while investigating the mysterious disappearance of two children, discovers her own family might also be in jeopardy.
The Children will be distributed through New Line, who have been the home for Wan’s Conjuring universe, including the Annabelle films as well as the upcoming spin-off The Nun.
