A recent multi-state effort to reduce active fugitive warrants out of Wicomico County resulted in 41 arrests, which included almost a dozen gang members, Maryland State Police said.

“Operation Hide and Seek” as it was dubbed, brought together the Maryland State Police Gang Enforcement Unit, Salisbury Police Department and other allied agencies in Maryland, Delaware and Virginia.

These agencies worked together to locate and apprehend suspects with active warrants issued through the Salisbury Police Department, according to a news release, focusing their efforts on criminal gang members and suspects of open criminal investigations.
