Kimberly Guilfoyle has solo night out after Mooch bails on gala

Kimberly Guilfoyle was a VIP guest at a swanky gala Tuesday night, and sources said her rumored beau, Anthony Scaramucci, was meant to attend as well. But we heard the Mooch canceled hours before the New York Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children’s Food & Wine Gala kicked off.

Page Six reported last month that the short-tenured White House communications director is rumored to be wooing the glamorous Fox News anchor, despite their denials.

Pals insist the pair are just “very good friends” and that it’s “too early to call them a couple.”

Guilfoyle was at the inspiring gala that raised over $700,000 with Fox colleague Ainsley Earhardt and told us when we asked if the Mooch was supposed to join her that he was never meant to attend, but did make a donation.

Scaramucci’s rep gave us an unusual two-word comment: “Convoluted bulls—t.”

Also at the Metropolitan Club were the glitzy night’s emcee, Deborah Norville, panelists Tim and Nina Zagat, Hilary Geary Ross, chef Michael Ferraro and Mary L. Pulido.
