Here are details of people from convicted at Bath Magistrates' Court until January 4 for crimes in north east Somerset and motoring offences across the whole county.

January 3

Paul Webb, 53, of Newtown Road, Highbridge, was fined £100 and given three points for driving five miles above the 30 mile per hour speed limit on the A358 in Henlade. He was made to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 to the court.

Dion Maggs, 23, of Albert Avenue, Peasedown St John, was given a six month conditional discharge, made to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 to the court for being in the possession of cannabis, a class B drug.

Leanne Barnes, 33, of Conifer Close, Minehead, was fined £660 and disqualified from driving for six months for driving without insurance on the A39 in Dunster. She was ordered to pay a £66 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

Robert Swerdlow, 50, of Liverpool, was fined £700 and disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for six months for driving above the 30 mile per hour speed limit in Burtle. He had to pay a £70 victim surcharge and £85 to the court.

Lewis Hancock, 18, of Coronation Avenue, Keynsham, was given a community order for being in possession of 23.3g of cannabis with intent to supply. He was made to pay £85 to the CPS and a £85 victim surcharge.

Denis Lozuet, 70, of Middlemead, Stratton-on-Fosse, was given a community order and made to pay a £85 victim surcharge and £85 to the court. He took seven indecent photographs of children and will be a registered sex offender for five years.

January 4

Leonard Abbott, 64, of Warwickshire, was fined £584 and given six points for driving 100 miles per hour on the M5 Taunton. He was also made to pay a £58 victim surcharge and £85 to the court.

Calin Apahidean, 43, of Essex, was fined £368 and given six points for driving 54 miles per hour on the A358 at Henlade. He was also made to pay a £36 victim surcharge and £85 to the court.

Frank Bennett, 87, of Houlgate Way, Axbridge, was fined £100 and given three points for driving 35 miles per hour on the A38 Bristol Road in Sedgemoor. He was also made to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 to the court.

Paul Bowers, 60, of Lincolnshire, was fined £220 and given six points for using a mobile phone whilst driving on the M5 near Clevedon. He was also made to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 to the court.

Lee Caines, 48, of Wellington Flats, Yeovil, was fined £300 and given eight points for driving without insurance. He was also made to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 to the court.

, 21, of Raleigh Road, Yeovil, was fined £660 and given six points for driving without insurance. He was also made to pay a £66 victim surcharge and £85 to the court.

Mark Davey, 45, of Aspin Road, Wellington, was fined £660 and given six points for driving without insurance. He was also made to pay a £66 victim surcharge and £85 to the court.

Gerhardns Du Preez, 42, of Sheffield, was fined £440 and given three points for driving on the A38 Bridgwater Road with a tyre where a ply or cord was exposed. He was ordered to pay £44 to fund victim services and £85 to the court.

Henning Hammer, 51, of Upper Kewstoke Road, Weston-super-Mare, was fined £660 and given six points for failing to give information relating to the driver of a vehicle. He was also made to pay a £66 victim surcharge and £85 to the court.

Philip Hawthorne, 30, of Modbury, Devon, was fined £354 for driving above 30 miles an hour on the A368 near Blagdon Primary School. He made to pay a £66 victim surcharge and £85 to the court.

Antonia Inkpen, 53, of Trelawn Close, Weston-super-Mare, was fined £100 and given three points for driving at 36 miles per hour in Worlse near Mendip Green First School. She was also made to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 to the court.

Ciprian Lacatus, 40, of Exeter, was fined £220 and given six points for using a mobile phone whilst driving in Taunton. He was also made to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 to the court.

Graham Lake, 78, of Greenway Road, Wellington, was fined £660 and given six points for failing to give information relating to the driver of a vehicle. He was also made to pay a £66 victim surcharge and £85 to the court.

Piotr Lipa, 35, of Middle Street, Yeovil, was fined £300 and given six points for driving without insurance on Queensway in Yeovil. He was also made to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 to the court.

Adam Maksi, 24, of Christchuch Street West, Frome, was fined £213 and given four points for driving above the speed limit on the A4 in Saltford. He was also made to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 to the court.

James Notley, 41, of Monksilver, Taunton, was fined £660 and given six points for driving without insurance. He was also made to pay a £66 victim surcharge and £85 to the court.

Natalie Perkins, 33, of Welshmill Lane, Frome, was fined £660 and given six points for failing to give information relating to the driver of a vehicle. She was also made to pay a £66 victim surcharge and £85 to the court.

Jane Pickford, 52, of Bristol, was fined £440 and given four points for driving at 36 miles per hour when the speed limit was 20 in Chew Stoke. She was also made to pay a £44 victim surcharge and £85 to the court.

Alice Prall, 37, of Witham Friary, Frome, was fined £660 and given six points for failing to give information relating to the driver of a vehicle. She was also made to pay a £66 victim surcharge and £85 to the court.

Andrew Sugg, 46, of Grosvernor Court, Ilchester, was fined £100 and given three points for driving at 38 miles per hour on the A358 at Henlade. He was also made to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 to the court.

Paul Sutton, 41, of Middlesex, was fined £288 and given four points for driving 96 miles per hour on the A303 near Sparkford. He was also made to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 to the court.

Ian Wakley, 51, of Staple Fitzpaine, Taunton, was fined £660 and given six points for failing to give information relating to the driver of a vehicle. He was also made to pay a £66 victim surcharge and £85 to the court.

Daniel Warrilow, 30, of Walsall, was fined £333 and given four points for driving 11 miles per hour above the speed limit on the A38 Bristol Road in Sedgemoor. He was also made to pay a £33 victim surcharge and £85 to the court.

Kyle Warrington, 33, of Mendip Road, Portishead, was fined £146 and given three points for driving seven miles per hour above the speed limit on the A38 Bristol Road in Sedgemoor. He was also made to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 to the court.

Luke Wheatley, 25, of Lower Innox, Frome, was fined £220 for driving without a licence. He was fined an addition £660 and given eight points for driving without insurance. He was also made to pay a £66 victim surcharge and £85 to the court.

Simon Wilson, 33, of Kennaway Road, Clevedon, was fined £660 and given eight points for driving without insurance. He was fined an additional £220 for driving without a licence and also made to pay a £66 victim surcharge and £85 to the court.
