Watch: James Bond in 'Skyfall' teaser trailer

The mysterious teaser trailer for the new James Bond thriller "Skyfall" has hit the web.

In it, Bond (Daniel Craig) is playing a word-association game in an interrogation room as his superiors peer in. "Agent" is "provacateur," "gun" is "shot," and "murder" is "employment." Then, the government psychologist says, "Skyfall." "Done," says Bond.

What "skyfall" is remains unknown. The teaser provides a series of arresting images from London to Shanghai: A subway train tearing through an embankment, a rural landscape, someone (probably Bond) falling down an elevator shaft, as well as customary shots of 007 running in the street and staring off into the shadows.

It also demonstrates Bond's, and Craig's, knack for conserving words.

"Some men are coming to kill us," Bond says. "We're going to kill them first."

Presumably, Javier Bardem, playing Raoul Silva, is the silhouetted villain seen outside a burning building. There are two Bond girls this time: Berenice Marlohe as Severine and Naomie Harris as Eve.

The Sam Mendes-directed film, due out Nov. 9, also stars Ralph Fiennes, Dame Judi Dench and Albert Finney. This is the 23rd Bond film and Craig's third turn in the role.
