Whats in your beauty bag?

Abeauty bag is your little haven filled with all things you love. I try to pack my pouch with a mix of makeup and skincare that can come to my rescue whenever and wherever needed. So, ideally, what should you have in your beauty bag? Here's a quick guide...
Prim 'n' Proper
A solid base is a must-have in your makeup bag; it is one product I cannot miss, especially with the kind of weather we have in Dubai. A good BB cream really helps keep the makeup on. I am currently using the Flormar Touch of Perfection range. It helps give the skin a smooth and even look, covering all spots and marks that one does not want to be seen.
Solid Foundation
While you may not wear foundation every day of the week, it's useful to keep it handy. A good foundation sets the base for your makeup application. My favourite is the NARS Velvet foundation stick. From full-face use to on-the-go correction, and effortless contouring, its removable Touch-Up Blender - a latex-free, touch-up tool - gives you complete control. You can swipe it across skin for a natural effect, or stipple it on for fuller coverage.
Lippie Love
There is a wide selection to choose from and I struggle to narrow it down to a few for the pouch. I tend to stick to neutral colours and deep reds. The one I am currently loving, and which is so ideal for a girl on the go, is the VDI Lip Cut Rouge. It has a one-swipe application delivering a compact glossy finish and intense hydration. The lipstick is cut out very precisely, making it quite simple to swipe on even in the absence of a mirror.
Conceal it
I have a few acne scars from my teenage years, which means a concealer is a must for hiding those. Bobbi Brown's Intensive Skin Serum concealer has been my go-to. With its serum texture, this concealer blends with skin effortlessly and is extremely lightweight; even the biggest pimple will be covered without looking like makeup has been caked on. Two thumbs up!
Sheet Masks
This one might come across as a bit odd, but, believe me when I say you just need to have these handy. Sheet masks are my go-to, quick and easy application with almost instantaneous results, no muss and no fuss either to wash off later, so you can slap one on the go, in a waiting room or just about anywhere. I love the natural variants at The Face Shop which deliver great results and only cost Dh15 each.
Blush n Brush
One of my hot favourites is the Zoeva Opulence Blush Palette. The colours on this set really help jazz up my cheeks, and a little bit goes a long way.
Eyes
How many times have you heard 'Oh, are you not feeling well' when not wearing eyeliner? Safe to assume we all have been there. Eye makeup can go from super basic to heavily adorned depending on where you are meant to go, which is why I always keep on hand the Sisley Phyto Eye Twist pencil, which doubles as an eye-shadow stick and eyeliner. On most days, I use it for an extra-big line on my lids. The colour is highly pigmented, so I need only one swipe, and it glides on super-smoothly. The best part is that it is long-wearing. I use this every day and truly love it!
