A new picture of Sam Claflin as Finnick in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire has been released.
Claflin joins the cast of the successful series for the upcoming sequel, which is due for release on November 22.
Movies: The Hunger Games: Catching FireDuring last weekend's Hunger Games panel at San Diego Comic-Con, it was revealed that Claflin is worried that he isn't enough of a sex symbol to play the character.
However, Jennifer Lawrence assured fans: "Oh no, he is."
In Suzanne Collins's best-selling novels, Finnick is one of the main new characters in Catching Fire. He is a former winner of the Hunger Games, and is forced to return to the battlefield with other former champions including Katniss Everdeen (Lawrence).
Finnick is known for his trident skills, and became a celebrity in the Capitol thanks to his charm and good looks.
