GOSHEN - The Friends of the Orange County Arboretum will sponsor a bus trip to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens for the Cherry Blossom Display on April 28.

Participants will learn about  “Hanami,” the Japanese cultural tradition of enjoying the beauty of cherry blossom season. They will stroll down the Cherry Esplanade to see a spectacular display of blooms, explore the Japanese Hill and Pond Garden, and visit the Bonsai Museum with its display of 350 miniature trees.

The trip includes bus transportation, admission to the gardens, and a boxed lunch and beverage for $65 per person. Advance registration and payment are required by April 21. The bus will leave the Arboretum at 9 a.m. sharp and return at about 5 p.m. All proceeds benefit the Arboretum. To reserve a seat, call 615-3828.
