Larry Birkhead reveals he would like to keep the image of late partner Anna Nicole Smith alive ...as he struggles to find love on The Millionaire Matchmaker
He has been a single father for almost eight years, but it looks like Larry Birkhead is ready to date again.
In a sneak peak clip of The Millionaire Matchmaker, the 41-year-old could be seen sitting in with Patti Stanger to discuss his search for love.
As he will star in the season premiere for season eight of the programme, the former husband of the Playboy playmate opened up to the 53-year-old matchmaker about how he's ready to put himself out there as long as he keeps the image of his late partner alive.

On the prowl: Larry Birkhead revealed that he is ready to date again as he sat down with Patti Stanger in a recently released sneak peak clip of The Millionaire Matchmaker
In the clip the television personality asked Larry several questions including if his house was a shrine to Anna Nicole.
The father-of-one responded: 'The problem I have was I feel like I have a responsiblity to my daughter of keeping her image alive. Also have a responsibility from the estate to work on Anna's image constantly.'
Before her passing, Anna Nicole and Larry had a daughter named Dannielynn, now aged eight, who he says has been pushing him to date.

'I just think it's time': The 41-year-old seemed to be open to finding a new ladylove as long as he can still honour the memory of his late partner
Larry said: 'I just think it's time, I think it's time for love. Just knowing that my daughter is ready for me to do it and I'm ready to do it. I'm not getting any younger.'
Anna Nicole died when Dannielynn was just five-months old. Three days after her birth, Dannielynn's half brother Daniel also passed away suddenly at the age of 20.
Though it seems like Larry hasn't quite moved on, Patti seems open for the challenge of finding him a new ladylove.

It's settled: The two agreed on finding a Jennifer Love Hewitt lookalike woman from the South that is willing to honour the memory of his late partner
She said: 'I'm worried that Larry lives in the past, but that's what I'm here for. I'm here to help him, to coach him along the way and say "It's okay, you know, to get back in the water so-to-speak."'
Patti also queried him on what Anna Nicole, who passed away in February 2007, would think of his new quest for love. Larry answered: 'I think she would just want me to be happy.'
Another interesting tidbit from the clip was that before meeting Larry, Anna Nicole had enlisted in Patti's help for her reality programme, The Anna Nicole Show, to help her find love at the time.

Larry also revealed that there are several family members living in his home including his sister and her daughter, his nephew, and his mother.
He said: ''Everybody's living, we all live together but I found myself devoting a lot of time to everyone else.'
At the end of the clip and conversation with Larry, Patti comes to conclusion that they will be looking for a Jennifer Love Hewitt lookalike from the South that is willing to honour the memory of Anna Nicole.
The season eight premiere of The Millionaire Matchmaker featuring Larry and ex-music video model Melyssa Ford airs on Bravo on December 7.
