Carrie Underwood cherishes every part of her busy life

Pregnant Carrie Underwood has her hands full in each and every aspect of her life – but insists she wouldn’t have it any other way.

The Cry Pretty star is currently expecting her second child with husband Mike Fisher, with whom she also shares three-year-old son Isaiah. Her due date is fast approaching, and Carrie rarely gets a second to herself thanks to her busy work life. But in an interview with Kix Brooks on American Country Countdown, the 35-year-old said she loves every part of her action-packed lifestyle.

“There’s a lot happening, but that is what we take on as women, and I cherish every role I get to be in – the country music singer, you know, the boss, the whatever, the mom,” she mused. “Those are all good things, and I feel like moms everywhere just know.

“They juggle. I juggle. We’re all doing the same things, just in different ways. We’ve all got jobs to do, and we’ve got babies to take care of and it all happens at once, and you figure it out.”

As well as being a hands-on mother and country singing sensation, Carrie is also enjoying success with her activewear line CALIA by Carrie Underwood and being the face of NBC’s Sunday Night Football show.

Fans also started speculating recently that Carrie might be the star beneath The Lion costume on bizarre new singing series The Masked Singer. In the show, celebrities from all walks of life don elaborate costumes to perform songs, while a panel of judges including Nicole Scherzinger and Robin Thicke attempt to work out their identities.

The Lion appeared on the program last week (ends06Jan19), performing California Dreamin‘, and viewers quickly started guessing that it might be Carrie behind the mask.

Some fans even pointed out that The Lion’s gold costume was created by Marina Toybina, who has worked with Carrie on numerous occasions in the past.

The series was filmed last June (18), meaning that Carrie’s baby bump would only just have started being noticeable, while the draping on the ensemble could have hidden any changes to her figure.

Fans will have to keep watching to find out if their theory is correct. One singer is eliminated each week on the show, revealing their identity in the process.
