The 18th annual Keys to Success Conference for parents, educators and service providers of children ages 3-21 with special needs will be held from 8 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4, at Elk Mound High School (405 University St.) The conference provides information, resources and support to all who live and work with children with special needs.
The Keynote speaker is Michelle Uetz, a special education teacher and guardian of two children with mental health issues who understands and addresses mental illness from a teacher, sibling, parent and personal perspective.
Letters of attendance will be provided and CEUs or CRCs for professionals will be available through UW-Stout.
The conference is free of charge, but pre-registration by Oct. 27 is required.
