People Are Calling Out These Reality TV House Flippers for Scamming Them

From House Beautiful

There's no denying Scott and Amie Yancey are extremely entertaining on A&E's Flipping Vegas. But fans and house-flipping hopefuls are not happy with the duo's latest venture into real estate seminars, which promises to take your life to the next level of success. The only problem? Customers have taken to online message boards and YouTube videos to share just how unsatisfied they were with the program.

It all starts with a free preview event targeted to people who want to make it big flipping houses - no experience necessary. But those who attended claim it's more like a three-hour pitch to get attendees to pay $2,000 for their three-day seminar. Then those who invested a couple thousand dollars to attend the multiple-day workshop say they ended up getting yet another pitch for the next level that costs ... wait for it ... $30,000 (yikes).

While this is certainly disappointing for fans, it's important to remember these customers made the decision to invest in the workshops - no one forced them. It's just another unfortunate lesson to always do your research before making big financial decisions.
