Kevin Welch said although his family is now looking for a place away from the city and with more land, his favorite spot of this home is his office and library. 

"That office is not away in a corner. It is right up front, so if someone comes to the door, I am right there," Welch said. "It has a fireplace, and the woodcarvings are beautiful."

And through a small door near the boys' room upstairs is a custom-made boys' "cave," where the kids can play video games and host sleepovers, Welch said.
