3 young Ohio State Buckeyes we're watching at spring football practice

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio State football's spring game is just over a week away, with the kickoff set for 12:30 at Ohio Stadium. Tickets are $5.

Before we get to that next Saturday, the Buckeyes will hold their annual Student Appreciation Day this Saturday. That's when OSU students are invited to watch a full practice, and then Urban Meyer throws in some special events, like fastest student races and, typically, chances for a student or two to get to kick a field goal.

That also means reporters to get watch a full practice for the only time this spring. That's a big deal, as we'll put some eyes on the stories we've been hearing from players and coaches.

Bill Landis, Ari Wasserman and I each picked the Buckeyes we're most curious to see on Saturday. Next week, we'll break down by position group the players you need to watch in the spring game.

For now, we went with three young guys who we haven't seen much of on the field. Check out our picks in the video and make sure you visit cleveland.com on Saturday for full coverage after the open practice.
