LOS ANGELES >> About 20 Los Angeles Department of Water and Power customers were without water this morning as workers repair a broken water main in El Sereno, a DWP spokesman said.
The broken 8-inch underground main was noticed at 2:53 a.m. in the 5200 block of East Huntington Drive South, said the DWP’s Jason Stinnett.
Workers hoped to restore service by 2 p.m., Stinnett said. “Hopefully sooner.”
