Channel 5 has ordered a one-off documentary titled Web Cam Girls.

The channel is one of several international broadcasters to have bought the programme from Back2Back Productions.

The 50-minute film is a follow-up to Channel 4's My Phone Sex Secrets, reports Broadcast.

Web Cam Girls will focus on women who work in the webcam erotica industry, which is said to be worth around £80 million in the UK. User interests include women taking showers in baked beans and crushing toy cars in stilettos.

The programme was produced without a UK broadcaster in line, and was part-funded by distributor Electric Sky.

Electric Sky head of acquisitions Stella Brisley said: "After our success with My Phone Sex Secrets, we knew the follow-up would sell far and wide. The winning combination of Back2Back's proven production skills, together with our team's track record for closing sales, gave us the confidence to invest in the film knowing a UK sale would be achievable."

Back2Back managing director David Notman-Watt added: "We needed a distribution partner with biceps to take this project on and Electric Sky rose to the challenge having already sold sister documentary My Phone Sex Secrets worldwide."

My Phone Sex Secrets attracted 1.47 million viewers on Channel 4 in March 2013.
