Lowndes County Drug Bust Nets 2 Arrests

Letohatchee, AL (WSFA) - Two men are in custody following a drug sweep by Lowndes County sheriff's deputies.
Sheriff Charlie Williams tells WSFA 12 news deputies pulled over an 18-wheeler carrying produce on I-65 near Letohatchee. Once deputies got inside, besides produce, they found 2 bags with 7 large bags of marijuana inside them.
Deputies arrested the two men and charged with them drug trafficking. They are now in the Lowndes County Jail.
