Barbara, Steve, Michael, and Brian,
I was so very sad to hear that Roger K had passed but I do rejoice with you in the truth that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. We know this is not good-bye forever because one day soon, we will all be together once again for the greatest reunion yet.
I want you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers here in Florida as well as family in Illinois. May the peace that passes all understanding guard your heart as you walk through this time. I send my love as well. Thank God that He is our sure foundation, a very present help in time of trouble.

Barbara and family, please accept my condolences on the passing of your beloved Roger K. My late husband, Don Bailey, and Roger were boyhood friends, and I have delightful memories of the stories Don told of their early games and adventures (including skating downhill on Jackson Street, polishing Ruth Peterson's silverware in the dirt, dog birthday parties, night-time parades of shoeboxes illuminated by fireflies, and so on). I hope they are again sharing such simple and even greater joys! We'll always miss having them with us physically, but their spirits will live on with us and comfort us for the rest of our lives. God bless you and yours.
