Micky Dolenz has hinted at the likelihood of another Monkees reunion tour.

Dolenz, Michael Nesmith and Peter Tork were last on the road in 2012, following the death of original Monkees member Davy Jones.

Speaking to Parade, Dolenz teased that he has had talks with Nesmith and Tork about a new trek.

"You never know," he teased. "We certainly are talking about it. There isn't anything firm that's ready to be announced at this moment."

The musician added: "I think with any luck there will be some Monkee business going on in the not-too-distant future."

The Monkees are slated to hold an official convention from today (March 14) to Sunday (March 16) in New Jersey.
