Worcester man added to State Police list of Most Wanted fugitives

A 29-year-old Worcester man, who police accuse of shooting and seriously injuring a man outside a Grafton Street pub in 2014, was added to the State Police Most Wanted fugitive list on Tuesday.

Victor D. Kelley is wanted on charges related to a nonfatal shooting outside the Diamond Inn around 1 a.m. on October 15, 2014.

Kelley allegedly ran from Worcester police when they responded to the shooting, according to a statement released Tuesday by State Police.

Police said responding officers saw the alleged suspect at the scene and tried unsuccessfully to chase him down.

The victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds. He received treatment at an area hospital, police said.

Police said Kelley lived in Worcester at the time of the shooting, but that the 6-foot-1-inch man has “ties” to Maryland.

Kelley, who police said goes by the nickname “Buster”, was last seen weighing about 150 pounds and with a tattoo of his initials “VK” on the right side of his neck.

His left forearm is fully tattooed, police said.

He should be considered armed and dangerous, said State Police.

Anybody who has information about his whereabouts is urged to call 911 or Massachusetts State Police at 1-800-527-8873.
