Second time's a charm! Real Housewives star NeNe Leakes says 'I do' (again) to ex-husband Gregg Leakes in lavish wedding

NeNe Leakes wed Gregg Leakes the first time in 1997 only to divorce him 14 years later.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star put the past behind her when she remarried her ex-husband in a splashy ceremony on Saturday.

It wasn't exactly a repeat performance as NeNe, 45, and Gregg, 58, said 'I do' in front of 400 of their closest friends and relatives... and a Bravo camera crew.

The wedding took place at the InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta hotel, with set-up beginning at dawn ahead of the 8:30p.m. nuptials, Life & Style is reporting.

'We couldn't be happier,' NeNe told the magazine. 'Marrying my soulmate is the best feeling I've ever had.'

Once the vows were exchanged, NeNe and Gregg celebrated with their guests in the Windsor Ballroom for what turned out to be five fun hours of partying. 

Although NeNe's first marriage to Gregg ended in divorce in 2011, she seems to be certain that this one will last.

'This time around, we’ll work together as a team more,' NeNe told In Touch magazine, which published her original 1997 wedding photo.

On Friday NeNe's pre-wedding excitement was palpable as she tweeted: 'Got big plans this weekend?   Cause I do :)' 

Two weeks ago NeNe enjoyed a four-day bachelorette party with her gal pals in fabulous Cancun, Mexico.

Once the vows were exchanged, NeNe and Gregg celebrated with their guests in the Windsor Ballroom for what turned out to be five fun hours of partying.

NeNe's wedding planning and ceremony was captured on camera for a spin-off called I Dream of Nene: The Wedding, which is slated to air later this year.  

'I Dream Of Nene-The Wedding coming soon on Bravo! Greg & I hope 2 inspire others 2 save their marriage,' Nene tweeted to her 1.1million followers.

The reality star also reportedly forced all of her wedding guests to sign a lengthy release in which they had to agree to 'no alcohol, no drugs'.

The guests also apparently had to sign a waiver that demanded 'no running for public office,' according to RadarOnline.com.

NeNe follows in the famous footsteps of Elizabeth Taylor, Natalie Wood, Melanie Griffith, Marie Osmond, Eminem, and Amy Winehouse - who all remarried their former spouses.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Leakes was aided by celebrity wedding planner Tiffany Cook and her bridal party included Cynthia Bailey and Marlo Hampton.
