Road closed following two-car collision
EMERGENCY services are currently attending to a road accident involving two cars just outside of Ardrossan.
The A78 north of the town is closed following the collision, which occurred at 5.20pm tonight (Monday, November 20).
Police, fire and ambulance services are in attendance at the scene, near the access road to Loup Cottage, just past the bypass roundabout.
It is believed both drivers are conscious but no further details have been released.
Cars and buses were being turned back and it is believed the road may be closed for some time.
