CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — A man claims he was shot while driving Saturday night in the Foundation Park area of Chesapeake.
Chesapeake police say they were called to the area of Border Road and Windy Road for the shooting around 8 p.m.
The victim told police he was driving his car when an unknown car with men in it began shooting at this vehicle. The victim has several other people in his car with him when the shooting happened, police say.
The man’s injuries are not considered life-threatening and police say at this time they do not know if there was a motive for the shooting.
The suspect’s vehicle is described as a dark-colored, newer Jeep model. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Crime Line at 1 (888) LOCK-U-UP.
