Another St. Joe’s Amp concert has been disrupted by the coronavirus pandemic.

Hall & Oates announced Wednesday that it will be postponing its 2020 tour dates, including a July 30 concert at the St. Joseph’s Health Amphitheater at Lakeview in Syracuse, until next summer. Squeeze and KT Tunstall were scheduled to open the show.

“As we continue to monitor the ever-changing situation, we wanted to let everyone know that the Daryl Hall & John Oates summer 2020 dates through the end of July are being rescheduled to summer 2021,” the band said in a statement. “We hope to announce these dates shortly and look forward to seeing everyone next summer. Please continue to check back at your point of purchase for further information regarding the ticketing policies.”

A rescheduled date has not been announced for Syracuse.

If an event is postponed and no rescheduled dates have been announced within 60 days of the postponement announcement, ticket holders will have a 30-day window to request refunds.

If an event is rescheduled, tickets will be accepted for the new date. Ticket holders may “opt for a refund” within 30 days of the new show date being announced, but won’t be able to select the refund option until the new date is announced.

More than 25 shows were scheduled for the St. Joseph’s Health Amphitheater at Lakeview this summer, but half of them have been canceled, postponed or rescheduled due to Covid-19 concerns. Health experts said last month that it’s unlikely concerts and festivals will resume as normal until 2021.

Some New York state regions began to slowly reopen last Friday, but “entertainment” — such as live music — is in phase four of Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s restart plan; major events with large crowds, including the New York State Fair, remain in doubt.
