With Rockford's first-ever Fall for Rockford landing on the first official day of fall, many food vendors are getting on board with adding unique fall items to their menu.

There will be a dozen food vendors in downtown Rockford this Saturday, such as Lucha Cantina, Baker Street Burgers, and Big Papa's BBQ, Bamboo Wok and Roll, and many more. Bella Luna Bakery will have pumpkin cheesecake and apple cider doughnuts, and Sugar Jones will have a Edwards Apple Orchard cupcakes, which the bakery calls the perfect treat to enjoy for Saturday's fall like weather.

"We are going to have turtle brownies, and strawberry tiramisu, like strawberry shortcake, and we are launching cream puffs, so this will be the first time that anyone can try our cream puffs, and then we will start having them in the store after this weekend," said owner Sugar Jones owner Kathryn Pomerene.

The festival runs from 2 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, September 22nd in the 100 and 200 blocks of Main Street near Veteran's Memorial Hall. All food menu items will be between 2 and 8 dollars.
