The women of the Kardashian/Jenner family never cease to amaze us in the kitchen. First Kris with her Martha-beating mac and cheese, then Khloe with her creamy AF cheesecake, and now Kylie with her famous Snapchat banana pancakes.

We heard they were legit. But good enough to take down the Barefoot Contessa? We weren't so sure. Here's how their short stacks stacked up.

KYLIE'S RECIPE

To make Kylie's recipe, you only need 6 ingredients:

  • 1 cup Bisquick
  • 1 banana — "Make sure it's brown," says Kylie. (Brown speckles means it's sweet!)
  • 1/2 cup vanilla almond milk — Kylie uses the brand New Barn.
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

The process is wonderfully simple. Mash the banana in a bowl with a potato masher, whisk in the rest of the ingredients, ladle batter into a hot skillet, and get to flipping!

Her pancake cooking technique? "Let it bubble." See, celebrities are really just like the rest of us!

INA'S RECIPE

It should come as no surprise that there's more to Ina's recipe. First, you need to sift together your usual suspects of dry ingredients — flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In a separate bowl, you'll combine sour cream, milk, 2 (extra-large) eggs, vanilla, and some lemon zest. Then you'll mix everything together and wonder if it was all worth it.

While Kylie's recipe includes mashed banana in the batter itself, Ina sprinkles chopped bananas over the batter once it's ladled into the pan.

THE VERDICT

People liked both recipes, but in the end, the fluffiness of Ina's recipe made her the winner. But if you're the type of person who always has Bisquick and almond milk on hand, we highly recommend you try Jenner's. It's honestly not bad.
