‘RHOA’ Star Cynthia Bailey Talks About Closing ‘Bar One’

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey has been keeping busy since wrapping the previous season of the show. While filming with Bravo over the years, Bailey has shared some financial issues. Cynthia’s husband, Peter Thomas, had some financial troubles prior to getting married and many were concerned that Cynthia was putting her own money into Peter’s business ventures.

Cynthia Bailey has revealed that she hasn’t invested any money into Bar One, and that Peter has managed to grow the business completely on his own. Of course, sharing his journey on The Real Housewives of Atlanta has only helped him grow the business into a tourist hot spot in Atlanta.

According to a new Bravo report, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey is now revealing that the couple is facing some troubles with the bar. On the previous season, Bailey and Peter talked about the rented spot, which was getting troublesome. Since they were renting the property, the owner wasn’t doing his job in paying the bank.

Now, Bar One will have to move to a new spot and that means the bar will close down for at least a couple of months. The hot spot will move to downtown Atlanta on Auburn Ave. But don’t expect to come in and hang for a while.

“The new place we have to totally gut and redo,” Cynthia said, revealing it will be two or three months before it opens.

There is no set opening day as they don’t know what troubles they will run into while getting the hot spot ready for guests. But it sounds like it was a good move to relocate.

“We had a lot of problems,” Bailey has revealed, adding, “It’s a residential neighborhood and people didn’t like the music and cars. People were always complaining. The sad thing is Bar One had been doing extremely well. People loved it. It had become a tourist attraction.”

Bar One may be the primary income for Bailey’s husband, Peter Thomas. In other words, it is possible that he wants the new spot to open sooner rather than later. Back in August, the couple opened Sports One in Charlotte, North Carolina. According to The Inquisitr, Peter has hired Kordell Stewart to represent the sports bar because of his past in the NFL.

Cynthia Bailey has continued her modeling. Cynthia was recently walking the runway in New York for fashion week.
