Mendeecees Harris of VH1's Love & Hip Hop New York has broken his silence with the public after pleading guilty to serious charges that he was involved with a major drug ring.

He spoke with the network (with his fiancée Yandy Smith-Harris by his side) and updated fans on what's going on.

"I know y'all heard about what's going on. It's an ongoing process and I'm not able to talk about it right now."

What he did do was take the time to plug his upcoming ceremony with Yandy.

But what I can talk about is our wedding. I'm marrying the love of my life; and how excited I am to share it with you. So make sure you tune in..."

Mendeecees made headlines when he made the guilty plea in court last week. According to Democrat & Chronicle, an entire hour went by before he could answer all of the questions in what U.S. District Judge Frank Geraci Jr. dubbed as "a rather complicated agreement."

But Mendeecees did confess that he was connected to a drug ring that brought heroin and cocaine to the Rochester area from 2005-2012.

While the deal is complex, what's clear is that he has been ordered to cough up all of the income he's made from being on Love & Hip Hop New York plus paid appearances. That adds up to be more than $103,000, his lawyer Donald Thompson confirmed. He could get up to a decade in federal prison and pay a fine up to $5 million. His sentence is set for Aug. 31. He and Yandy are going to tie the knot on May 25. Viewers will be able to see the ceremony live on VH1 in a two-hour special called Love & Hip Hop: The Wedding at 8/7c.
