While Erica Mena's fiancé actor Bow Wow will not be making any appearances on VH1's Love & Hip Hop New York, he was certainly a topic of conversation between Mena and her previous girlfriend Cyn Santana during the season premiere Monday evening.

Viewers who tuned in to the highly anticipated fifth season debut saw Santana confront Mena for making out with Bow Wow on national television via BET's 106 & Park.

Mena confessed to her then girlfriend and cameras that she just caught up in the moment with Bow Wow. But fast forward to current day, it looks like there was definitely something between the rapper and reality star as they are now engaged.

In an extended teaser for the upcoming season, Mena and Santana have a huge fallout that ends with a breakup. Not long after Mena tells her mother that Bow Wow proposed to her.

"It's like more than like love now mom...He asked me to marry him," she said before showing her mom the diamond on her ring finger.

Despite what seems like a whirlwind romance between her and Bow Wow, Mena has made it clear that she has moved on from Santana and is ready to begin her life with her future husband.

She spoke with HOT 97 Monday morning and said, ""I think once we see how the breakup [with Santana] actually plays out, it's super intense. When I was in that relationship, I was in that relationship. So, I gave it a lot. [With Bow Wow] for the first time, I really want to keep something to myself. This is going to be for the rest of my life."

She added that she "wishes Santana the best."
