KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The victim from Thursday’s homicide at 20th and Denver has been identified as James Jackson, 29. Police were dispatched to the scene early on Thursday morning to investigate a shooting. When they arrived they found Jackson inside a maroon vehicle and he was deceased.
Witnesses said that they observed Jackson’s vehicle on the scene of an earlier interaction between multiple parties before hearing a gunshot. They also saw the vehicle wreck out into a large storage container north of the intersection at 20th and Denver.
