She may be barely old enough to see “Neighbors 2,” but Chloe Moretz just landed a role in a sequel to last year’s hit R-rated comedy.

Universal announced Thursday that the 18-year-old actress will join returnees Seth Rogen, Zac Efron and Rose Byrne for the follow-up to “Neighbors,” which earned $268 million worldwide.
Director Nicholas Stoller, who was behind the camera for the first movie, is also returning.
Moretz, whose next movie, the thriller “Dark Places,” opens Aug. 7, is in high demand. Having broken through as the homicidal child vigilante Hit Girl in the “Kick Ass” movies and in Martin Scorsese’s “Hugo,” she also drew raves last year for the YA adaptation, “If I Stay.”
