Bellevue Man In Trouble Over Nude 'Wiggling,' Police Say

He claims he was just fixing his curtains. A woman walking by on the street claims otherwise.

BELLEVUE, WA - A Bellevue man is facing a criminal charge after he allegedly exposed himself to a woman walking by his house. He claimed he was just "fixing the curtains," Bellevue police reported.

The incident happened around 3 p.m. on Nov. 7 along the 14300 block of Somerset Boulevard. The woman was walking by the man's house when she heard a strange noise. She turned toward the house to inspect, and apparently saw the nude man "wiggling" his body, according to police.

Now, the man is facing a criminal charge for exposing himself.

NE 17th Street, Nov. 5, 10:20 a.m. - The female suspect threw kitchen utensils at the male victim and struck him in face with a spatula. She then splashed his face and clothes with bleach. The suspect was arrested and booked.

118TH Avenue Southeast, Nov. 9, noon - A Bellevue Parks employee was leaf blowing and left his city vehicle unlocked. When the employee returned to the vehicle he discovered damage to the steering column.

NE 12th Street, Nov. 9, 4:05 p.m. - Officers responded to the apartment complex after a female resident called 9-1-1 to report an unknown subject sleeping on her couch. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a male inside the residence. The male was detained without incident and the resident was unharmed. The male was arrested and booked.

SE 32nd Street, Nov. 10, 1:48 a.m. - Victim was practicing night time photography on a trail next to SE 32nd St just North of the I-90 and was approached by the suspect. The suspect pulled a knife out of pocket and demanded the victim’s money and camera. The suspect could not be located.

120 Ave Northeast, Nov. 10, 8:13 a.m. - The suspect threatened to kill a barista if she called the police, and refused to leave the place of business. When the police arrived to investigate, the suspect became assaultive towards the officers. As a result, minor force was used to take the subject into custody. There were no injuries to the officers or the suspect.

103rd Ave Northeast, Nov. 10, 11:31 p.m. - The victim’s ex-boyfriend purposefully crashed his vehicle into hers after arguing about their recent breakup, and fled the scene once Police were called. Seattle Police were advised of the incident, and located the suspect attempting to return home. The suspect was arrested by Seattle Police and booked into jail for Felony Hit and Run DV.

SE Eastgate Way, Nov. 11, 5:47 p.m. - An unknown suspect entered a public restroom at the facility on the second floor and lit the toilet covers on fire. They smoldered for approximately 2hrs until someone at the location noticed it and called Bellevue Fire. No serious damage.
