Porn Website Offers Free Leaf Removal In Hudson Valley

The adult entertainment site said it will expand the service to additional locations across the United States.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — A county in the Hudson Valley, known for its leaf-peeping, has been chosen to premiere a free leaf collection service provided by, of all things, an adult entertainment video website. Pornhub announced Tuesday, Nov. 6 its latest social good campaign which the company is suggestively calling "Pornhub Blows America."

The goal is to provide free leaf removal services this fall beginning in Dutchess County and expanding to additional cities across the U.S. in the next few weeks, according to a press release from Pornhub.

Beginning Tuesday and continuing through Friday, Nov. 9, Dutchess County residents and businesses can submit requests for free leaf removal via an email address — blows@pornhub.com.

The requests, which should include name, address, phone number and proof of address, will be fulfilled on a first-received, first-served basis.

Dutchess Lawns, located in Poughkeepsie, will be providing the free service, with its Pornhub-branded landscaping trucks. The crews will also be wearing Pornhub-branded apparel while removing the leaves.

To make certain the leaf-removal requests are legitimate, residents and business owners must provide a valid ID that matches the name and address of the location received by Dutchess Lawns.

"While foliage can be beautiful, it can also be quite cumbersome when it falls and litters your lawn and requires you to remove it," said Corey Price, vice president of Pornhub. "Sure, you can grab a rake or a blower and put a little sweat equity into the painstaking task of removing the debris yourself, but it's much easier to outsource the work to a professional who can do it in half the time."

This latest campaign follows the adult entertainment company's plowing streets and parking lots in the wake of the March 2017 Northeast blizzard that dumped 2 feet or more snow in the region, the public launch of an entire library of content geared toward deaf and hard of hearing users and the awarding of a $25,000 grant to a human sexuality research project.

A call to Jay Lotaj of Dutchess Lawns was not immediately returned.
