EUGENE, Ore. - The City of Eugene Parks and Recreation is looking ahead to big plans after a parks levy and bond measure passed in Tuesday's election.

Parks staff will begin work on safety improvements, park maintenance, renovations and even the creation of new parks, while recreation staff members will develop final plans for renovation Echo Hollow pool and Campbell Community Center.

All in all, they're working with a more than $39 million bond and a $3 million, 5-year levy.
