Angelina Jolie recently opened up juggling her priorities as a mom and as an actress.

During a recent interview, Jolie said that every day she gets to somehow grow as a person based on the things she does.

“We’re all trying to find balance, as people. I think to be a balanced person, you have to find those things that you just purely enjoy. But, of course, if you aren’t participating in the bigger picture of life, and in being somehow useful, and you aren’t doing something and growing, then really, you’ll find you’re not very happy. Really, you’ll have quite an empty life,” she said.

Jolie is definitely doing a wonderful job juggling her work as a mom to her six kids and working as an actress. The 42-year-old director bonds with her children regularly. Every now and then, they are seen enjoying “normal” things together. Most recently, Jolie bought a box of pizza with her 11-year-old daughter Shiloh, and 13-year-old daughter Zahara.

When it’s time to work, Jolie is also focused on her professional engagements. She recently directed “First They Killed My Father,” and she was also involved in “The Breadwinner.” Most recently, Jolie will lend her voice to “The One and Only Ivan.” Jolie also brings her kids to some awards shows so she could spend more quality time with them.

Last year, Jolie said that her kids are still healing from her recent divorce from Brad Pitt. By the looks of it, the actress took it upon herself to make sure that her kids won’t feel as though they are missing out on a father figure at home.

“We’re all just healing from the events that led to the filing. They’re not healing from the divorce. They’re healing from some… from life, from things in life,” she told Vanity Fair.

Pitt also gets to spend time with his six children at least once every week. Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox, all go to Pitt’s house, and they all stay there for hours.
