We are part of The Trust Project
The AMVETS Bridge on the Taconic State Parkway.
The AMVETS Bridge on the Taconic State Parkway.

The Taconic State Parkway (TSP) northbound bridge over the New Croton Reservoir will be closed beginning Monday, March 26, through Friday, Nov. 9, to perform extensive bridge repairs on the AMVETS Bridge.

Northbound traffic will be moved onto the southbound TSP roadway with only two lanes in each direction instead of the usual three lanes in each direction.

For more information regarding this project, visit the project website at www.dot.ny.gov/tspnewcroton.

The Department of Transportation strongly encourage commuters to use other state highways such as I‐84, I‐684, Route 9, Route 9A and the Saw Mill River Parkway while the bridge is closed. For trip planning and current roadway conditions, call 511 or visit www.511NY.org.

In advance, we thank you for your patience and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. For more information, please contact the NYSDOT construction field office at (914) 302‐7089 or email TaconicParkwayBridgeClosure@dot.state.ny.us.

A public information meeting is to be held on Thursday, March 8, 2012, starting at 7 p.m. at the Jefferson Valley Mall Community Room, 650 Lee Boulevard, Yorktown Heights, 10598.
