Attempted Burglary in Ridgefield: PD Seeks Public's Help

Two men broke a window of a residence and fled the area, police say.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — Police responded to an attempted burglary on North Salem Road on Wednesday at about 10:30 a.m.

Two men broke a window of a residence and fled the area, police say. Ridgefield officers K9 Loki, and Westchester County, NY Aviation Unit searched for the suspects but did not locate them.

Witnesses described the suspects as two White males in their late teens or early 20's. Height was reported as about 5'5".

Police are reporting that at no time did the suspects confront the homeowners and no weapon was reported.

The matter is under investigation by Ridgefield police. Anyone with any information is being asked to call 203-438-6531.
