Like a lot of the rappers from the Juggalo scene, Blaze Ya Dead Homie mixes hip-hop with horror movie themes for an effect that’s equal parts hard-hitting and over-the-top ridiculous. For all their boisterousness, songs such as “Escape Artist,” "Ghost” and “They Call That Gangsta” have a sort of whimsy about them, “Creature Double Feature” raps that have enough force to resonate but are fun enough to just enjoy.
