Police say two men found dead outside in different parts of North Minneapolis Sunday morning are not believed to be crime victims.

The first man was found in the 2300 block of Upton Avenue North around 8:49 a.m. and the second was found at 9:54 a.m. in the 1800 block of Russel Avenue North, according to Officer Corey M. Schmidt of the Minneapolis Police Department.

Schmidt says both deaths are not considered criminal in nature.

The Medical Examiner’s office will release the cause of death and the identities.

According to Police Clips, the mother of the man found on Upton Avenue North called to report she’d found her son “frozen” outside her home.
