A Duluth man was sentenced to 55 months in prison for selling methamphetamine in Cloquet.
Sixth District Judicial Court Judge Robert MacCauley on Dec. 5 sentenced Damien Michael Saylor, 35, in Carlton County to felony second-degree sale of meth.
Saylor pleaded guilty to the charge in October. As part of a plea agreement, a second charge of second-degree possession of meth was dismissed.
The Cloquet Police Department began investigating Saylor in March because he was suspected of selling large quantities of meth in Cloquet.
The CPD, assisted by the Carlton County Sheriff’s Office, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the Fond du Lac Police Department, successfully purchased meth from Saylor.
