DELAND, Fla. ā€“ Florida police said they surrounded a home after neighbors thought they heard a disturbance, however, the disturbance was a couple playing "Call of Duty" with their windows open, accordingĀ to the incident report.

Police were called to a mobile home community in DelandĀ Thursday night after a neighbor called 911 to report their neighbors yelling.

ā€œHi, Iā€™m calling because I hear my neighbors fighting down the street from me and Iā€™m a little bit concerned with what their saying," the 911 caller said. "Uh, my sister lives with me and she was out there smoking a cigarette and she heard them screaming something like a woman saying 'No, please donā€™t kill me.'

'Then when I walked out there I heard a man say, 'Why did you take my gun?'Ā and that's when I got kinda concerned," the 911 caller continued.

Several police cruisers surrounded the home where the call was thought to have originated and ordered the people inside to come out.

Three people came out, who wereĀ all awoken by the police presence.Ā Law enforcement determined there was no issue at the home.

One of the residents said when he went to bed, heĀ heard the neighbors at a home on Natures Wood Boulevard yellingĀ but didn't think there was anyone was in danger.

Police then went to the home where the yelling was coming from and a husband and wife came out and told police they had been playingĀ the game, "Call of Duty," with the windows open and may have said something that indicated a dispute.

"I have a loud voice," the woman said on a DeLand police officer body camera video recording, laughing with officers about the misunderstanding.

TheĀ couple told police they might have said something like, "That is my gun, give it to me," and "Please don't kill me" in reference to a player dying in the game.

No weapons were found in the home and no charges were filed.
