Thruway reopens at Pennsylvania state line, temporarily closed due to weather

Buffalo, N.Y. (WHAM) - A section of the New York State Thruway was closed due to weather conditions. It has since reopened.

The Thruway took to Twitter alerting drivers that I-90 Westbound was closed beyond exit 61 at the Pennsylvania state line.

That portion of the Thruway reopened later Saturday morning.

13WHAM's news partners WKBW reports that snow was falling one to two inches every hour in the Buffalo area.
