LLANDUDNO turned in a memorable effort to come away with a 24-12 win at in-form Llangefni.

The WRU National League Division One North side began in positive fashion and took the lead after just five minutes when a quick break following a line out resulted in the pacey Owain Stacey going over, with Ryan Pike firing the extras.

More attacking flair soon after brought with it further rewards as the visitors notched their second try of the contest through the impressive Cameron Davies, who crossed the white wash after a blistering move which began in their own half. Pike despatched the conversion.

Davies was in rampant mood throughout the game and he secured his second score of the afternoon after latching on to a kick which he had charged down to increase their advantage, and Pike was on hand to add another two points during a dominant spell.

After the break saw Davies leave the field after he received a yellow card, and they were dealt a further blow when Stacey was forced to withdraw due to injury after the away side had used all their replacements.

Despite the double setback Dudno standout Pike drilled over a penalty with their two-man disadvantage, and although the hosts produced a late rally which resulted in two tires they managed to hold on for a comfortable success which moves them into seventh spot.
