Most Romantic Restaurants For Valentine's Day 2018 In Alexandria

Alexandria has quite a few restaurants options for Valentine's Day, but reservations are almost all gone.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Roses and chocolate are always a great starting point, but if you're looking for a place to take your Valentine for a romantic dinner around Alexandria, Patch has some suggestions.

Restaurant reservations filled up quickly for Wednesday, Feb. 14, but a few are still available. We've updated the list indicating which restaurants are fully booked for dinner.

Brabo: BRABO embraces the sophistication and exceptional hospitality of fine dining in a relaxed atmosphere. Ease your way through Executive Chef Sebastien’s innovative tasting menu, which highlights his extensive culinary expertise in French and Belgian cuisine.

Bastille: Treat your special someone to a lovely 3 course dinner this Valentines. $69 per person / Wine pairings $35; Alcohol, taxes and gratuities not included. Credit cards are required for reservations.

The Warehouse: The Warehouse has consistently been highly rated by the nationally known "Zagats Dining Guide" and is one of the most popular restaurants in Old Town. Specialties include their famous All-Lump crab cakes, Lobster Linguine Pasta and their huge 20 oz Grilled T-Bone Steak.

Blackwall Hitch: The restaurant will offer a special menu on Valentine's Day and for dinner Feb. 15-17. The four-course dinner is $65 per person. Visit the restaurant's website to make reservations and to see the full menu.

Vermilion (booked for evening): From Chef Thomas Cardarelli's regional cuisine using local, farm-raised products whenever possible to the warmth of its ambiance and the gracious hospitality its staff brings to the table, Vermilion serves as an ideal location for a casual weekday dinner, a special occasion destination or simply a great gathering place for drinks.

Magnolias on King (booked for evening): Magnolia’s on King offers Southern Immersion Cuisine in the heart of Old Town Alexandria. A contemporary twist on classics and new dishes sure to be favorites, our cuisine offers locally and sustainably sourced seasonal ingredients.

The Columbia Firehouse: Built in 1883, as a firehouse Columbia Firehouse is now an American brasserie and barroom in the heart of Old Town. Dine indoors or outdoors, choosing from a variety of comfort foods, oysters and shellfish, mussels, small plates for sharing, salads, steaks and more.

MoHo Kitchen + Cocktails: Welcome to MoHo Kitchen + Cocktails where contemporary tavern fare meets inspired regional American cooking on our breakfast, dinner and brunch menus. Think: fresh-caught Atlantic seafood, locally foraged produce, and classic tavern cuts.

Gadsby's Tavern: The tavern has been offering fine dining since 1770. Enjoy a one-of-a-kind dining experience in one of the colonial rooms.

Il Porto: Every dish at Il Porto Ristorante is made from scratch, on premise, including our pasta, all fresh, every day! Il Porto Ristorante was established in Old Town Alexandria in 1973. While its roots are traditional Italian, in recent years, there has been a transition to modern cooking techniques led by Chef Miguel, as well as focus on offering a wide range of wines, many by the glass, at a very good value.

The Wharf: History has been written inside the walls of the Wharf, with its 1790's style architecture featuring original wood columns and beams that are charred black from a Civil War fire. Since 1971, satisfied diners have been heading to The Wharf in Old Town for whole Maine lobster, local soft shell crabs and prime steaks.

Geranio: Geranio Restaurant redefines Italian Cuisine in Old Town Alexandria by serving Chef/Owner Troy Clayton's modern Italian Cuisine in a warm romantic atmosphere. Valentine's special is a five-course meal for $80 per person.

La Tasca: La Tasca is a careful blend of everything that is good about Spain: warm décor, authentic cuisine and friendly hospitality. La Tasca has been described as being “so authentic that you won’t find anything better in Spain."

Landini Brothers: Located in the heart of Old Town Alexandria, and close to the Potomac River, Landini Brothers is a well-established landmark in Northern Virginia. It has been serving northern Italian food in the traditional Tuscan style since it opened in 1976.
