MAYSVILLE — Lillie Florence Wheeler, 85, of Maysville, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018, at the Care Center at Kenton Pointe.

She was the widow of James Wheeler.

Lillie was born in Mason County on July 8, 1933, the daughter of the late Ben and Emily Myers Campbell.

She worked as a Nurse Aid at Hayswood Hospital, the Villa of Georgetown and before retiring as a private caregiver.

She is survived by her two daughters, Darlene Brown and Ruth Wheeler Riggs (Ronnie), both of Maysville; three grandsons, Jimmy Brown (Jamie) and Kevin Brown, both of Mason County and Michael Wheeler (Laura) of Ripley, Ohio; nine great-grandchildren, Scott Brown, Jessica Brown, Courtney Brown, Kayla Brown, Kira Brown, Keely Crawford (Bo), Kelsy Brown, Damion Wheeler and Caleb Wheeler; one great-great-grandchild, Karoline Crawford.

She is also survived by stepchildren, step grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Evelyn McKay; a grandchild, Jamie Wheeler; four brothers, Vernon Campbell, Jess Campbell, Ben Campbell and Lawrence Campbell; and three sisters, Margaret Poe, Jeanette Hay and Mary Bryant.

A memorial service will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at noon, Monday, Nov. 19, 2018, with Rev. Kent Moore officiating.

Burial will be in the Shannon Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the hour of the service.
