Vallejo Woman ID'd As Body Found Floating In Fairfield Creek
Police consider her death suspicious.
SOLANO COUNTY, CA — A body found floating last week in a creek near railroad tracks in Fairfield was identified as that of 53-year-old Brenda Joy Hudson, of Vallejo, police said late Wednesday afternoon. At about 9 a.m. Thursday, June 14, a train passenger saw the body and reported it to police.
Officers responded to the scene in the 400 block of Union Avenue and found the unclothed body of a woman.
Divers recovered the body from the water.

Police at the time saw no immediate signs of trauma to the body nor evidence of foul play but were awaiting autopsy results.
On Wednesday, Fairfield police Sgt. Matt Bloesch said the death was considered suspicious and the investigation was ongoing.

Callers and texters can remain anonymous, Bloesch said.
