All-ages wreath decorating workshop

The library is hosting an all-ages session of wreath decorating just in time for the winter holidays. Teens, adults and families are welcome to join us Saturday, Dec. 3, 1:30-4:30, in the Barnet Gallery. The library will provide decorating materials and light refreshments — you provide the wreath and the creativity. Staff will be available for simple assistance, but will not be instructing in decorating techniques.

Children’s Librarian Linda Furey will also have a holiday craft activity for children. Kids of any age may color a wooden holiday ornament using paints or markers. All supplies for the children’s craft will be provided by the library.

A limited number of wreaths will be available for purchase through local Boy Scout troop #2 the day of the program from 1:30-4 p.m. Wreaths will be $10 and may be purchased using cash or local checks. They will be sold on the first floor of the library.

Register for this program by calling 978-921-6062 so library staff can correctly gauge the amount of decorating supplies required. This event is funded by the Friends of the Beverly Public Library, and is free and open to the public.
