Emmy Rossum is looking back at the first time she met Angelyne!
The 35-year-old actress plays the L.A. legend in the new series Angelyne on Peacock and recalled meeting her for the first time during an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers.

Emmy Rossum plays mysterious Los Angeles icon Angelyne in the new Peacock series and now the real woman is sharing her thoughts on the show.
The streaming service says that the series is “about fame, identity, survival, billboards, Corvettes, lingerie, men, women, women teasing men, men obsessed with women, West Hollywood, crystals, UFOs, and most importantly of all, the self-proclaimed Rorschach test in pink, glow-in-the-dark queen of the universe, Angelyne.”
Back in early 2020, Emmy shared a photo she took with Angelyne and announced that she was going to be an executive producer on the series.
Well, it doesn’t seem like she was happy with the finished product based on her new comments.

Emmy Rossum is stepping out for the premiere of her new Peacock series!
The 35-year-old actress was all smiles on the red carpet at the premiere of Angelyne on Tuesday evening (May 10) at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, Calif.

Joining Emmy at the premiere were her co-stars Charlie Rowe, Alex Karpovsky, Hamish Linklater, Philip Ettinger, Antjuan Tobias, Olivia Jellen, Tonatiuh, and Molly Ephraim.
Also in attendance was Hamish‘s longtime love Lily Rabe along with Dylan O’Brien.

Emmy Rossum is still hard at work on her upcoming series Angelyne!
The 35-year-old actress was spotted smashing a guitar while filming a scene for the upcoming Peacock limited series on Friday (October 22) in Los Angeles.
Emmy was seen wearing a red and black animal print bra top and leather pants, along with a blonde wig to transform her into the mysterious Los Angeles icon.
The first teaser trailer for Angelyne was released over a year and a half ago and the show is still in production due to delays from the pandemic.
One of Emmy‘s former co-stars from Shameless recently spoke out about how life on set changed after her exit from the show.
