Man Died From Fatal Crash In San Jose Wednesday

Fatal collision that occurred on McKean Road when the unidentified driver of the Toyota who died crossed the centerline, closing the road.

SAN JOSE, CA -- A man died in a two-vehicle collision Wednesday in San Jose, police said. Officers responded at 2:03 p.m. to a collision on McKean Road south of Bailey Avenue near the Cinnabar Hills Golf Club.

Police said a preliminary investigation shows a man in a Toyota Corolla was driving north on McKean Road approaching Bailey Avenue when his car crossed the centerline of a two-lane road and collided with a BMW. The man in the Toyota was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the BMW stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Police said they do not suspect alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
