He deserves it! Leonardo DiCaprio holidays in St Barts with model girlfriend Toni Garrn and best pal Lukas Haas

It was an intense start of the year for Leonardo DiCaprio, as he attended numerous awards ceremonies after being nominated for his stand out role in The Wolf Of Wolf Street.

So it’s no surprise to find the actor has taken time out from his film schedule to enjoy a holiday in the Caribbean with his closest friends.

Leo was spotted getting onto private boat to take them to a luxury yacht off the coast of St. Barts on Sunday, proving that his lifestyle does share some similarities with Jordan Belfort.

Leo, 39, was accompanied by a pretty blonde companion, but it seems his model girlfriend Toni Garrn had joined him on the sunny trip.

On her Instagram page, Toni, 21, had shared numerous photos of herself on a luxury yacht and playing in the Caribbean waters.

She also posted a photo of actor Lukas Haas, who is one of Leo’s best friends, so it seems they had all travelled to St Barts together for a tropical escape.

Toni has joined DiCaprio on various holidays since they began dating last year, and most recently went skiing together at a luxury ski resort Courchevel in France last month.

But while he takes a break from movies, Leo has thrown his support behind environmental protection organisation Ocean, giving a $3 million grant from his foundation aimed at protecting threatened ocean habitat and marine species.

DiCaprio is no stranger to philanthropy having organised the 11th Hour Charity Auction at Christie's last year, which raised $38.8 million for endangered species protection.

‘Protecting our planet's oceans and the marine species that call it home is one of the most pressing sustainability crises facing humanity today,’ DiCaprio said.

Since 1998 the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation has worked on promoting and raising awareness of environmental and humanitarian issues.

His charitable work, acting skill and good looks makes it not much of a surprise to hear Kate Winslet call Leo the ‘love of my life’.

During an interview with Winslet at the Divergent premiere this week, she was asked to pick between Leo and her co-star Theo James.

‘Leo is my love of my life,’ she told PopSugar. ‘How could you possibly ask me that question?

‘If I said Theo over Leo, he would never stay the night at his house ever again. Ever,’ she continued.
